As someone who cannot (or will not) focus on one form of expression, I have a hard time explaining the kind of artist I am.

I use the terms ‘multi-disciplinary’ and ‘experimental’ to describe my artistic tendencies, but I don’t feel they quite fit. That could just be from what I fundamentally don’t understand about art and the art world.

creating art as a child— One of my first memories

Sitting next to my dad at our old art table, I use pencils and watercolors and (probably) bits of mac n cheese to create my first memorable masterpiece.

It is a picture of a girl. she is simultaneously blessed with an abundance of toes and burdened by a paucity of fingers while having one leg that is much longer than the other. her physical She looks as if she’s trying desperately to regain her balance on a tightrope tied between two high rises, not simply walk along on a beautiful day.

Ignoring that the pavement under her dozens of toes is too thin to actually contain the subterranean lava, the girl maintains her composure while A single cloud floats lazily above her head— its nebular expression so mild you can’t tell if it’s aware how volcanically active this South Jersey shore town truly is.
